Q: Are pugs delicate? Are they hard to take care of? Any other stuff that’s     important about owning a pug?

A: I have two pugs and i have never had any problems or any hassles. The only thing we do regular is we have to clean my dogs wrinkles by his nose. They are the best. Love em to death. The only thing that I don’t like bout my pugs is they snore loud and they have to sleep on my pillow by my head and snore! But hey people snore too lol =D

I HAVE MY FIRST BLACK PUG, LOVE HER TO PIECES, SHE SLEEPS WITH US TOO, SHE DOES SNORE,BUT NOT MUCH. SHE IS THE SMARTEST DOG I EVER HAD.. SHE EVEN LETS ME KNOW WHEN MY NEIGHBORS HAVE A CAR PULL IN THEIR DRIVE-WAY , AND THAT ABOUT 5OO FEET FROM MY HOUSE, ACROSS THE FIELD, AS I LIVE DOWN A LONG LANE., OUT IN THE COUNTRY. WE ALSO HAVE A BLACK LAB/ IRISH MIX, WHICH IS ABOUT 13 YEARS OLD AND THEY GET ALONG FINE. THERE DON’T SEEM TO BE TOO MANY BLACK PUGS AROUND HERE, BUT I’M SO GLAD I GOT HER LAST CHRISTMAS.
P.S. I NAMED HER ” BUBBLES ”.SHE GOES CRAZY OVER ME WHEN I COME HOME THO. HAVE TO CALM HER DOWN OR SHE WOULD EAT ME ALIVE, HA-HA. THANK YOU , HAVE A GREAT PUG DAY..

I have two fawn pugs. They shed like crazy all year. They snore even when they’re awake. Delicate…no way! They are stout and always win at pug o war! Despite their stubborn and mischievous personalities you will fall in love with them instantly! #bestfriendsever #pugpower

  • My female pug Roxy usually gets alone with all the other dogs, except some times she will attack our Boston Bull Terrier. They play together most of the time but they have gotten into a fight where I have made a trip to the veterinary.

I have a rescued pug , I rescued her when she was 1 she is now 5. I love her to death, yes she is a little stubborn at times. The older she gets it seems the more stubborn she gets. 🙂 She likes to sleep under the cover with her head on either my leg or by my side. When she gets hot she gets out from under the covers, she’s a little stinker. Like I said I love her to death and don’t know what I would do w/o her. Her name is Lady and she is a black pug. She is also very picky with her food she loves boiled chicken.

Pugs are not hard to take care of. I own 2 and the only thing is they shed tremendously, snore and really you need to clean the wrinkled area on their faces. Love them to death. They are very intelligent and oh so attentive and loving.

We have a male pug x and a rescued female pug. We have had 3 rescued pugs now and would not go with another breed for the love and devotion they give even though they have previously had hard beginnings. Oliver is a real gentleman who knows basic commands but Princess Layla (we dropped the Princess immediately) is a one eyed thug whose only concern is her stomach and whose lap she can sleep on. If you want to own a pug be ready to have dog hairs everywhere – even in places they have not been (and on your good clothes) . If you wish to own a pug be ready for all sorts of noises from both ends. Layla snores like a train coming. But we love them. Please be wary of their eyes. Accidents do happen (apparently Layla akka The Thug lost hers fighting. She has pigment keratosis (is that how it is spelt) and limited vision in the other. She is on eye drops for the rest of her life (she’s 4 now). But not everyone is perfect. And yes she is lazy about going to the toilet outside when it is wet and cold. Have I spoken much about Oliver ?No! He is a gentleman. He only runs away if not walked regularly. Other than that, have I mentioned that he is a gentleman
