QUESTION: How long does the bleeding stage of a pugs heat cycle last? My pug is 3 years old and we just recently rescued her so please don’t jump all over me about her not being spayed! She will be. For now I am putting baby diapers on her so she doesnt bleed all over the house I was just wondering how long it goes for? Again I have NO intentions of breeding her.
ANSWER: A pug shouldn’t be kept in heat for too long. If your pug is bleeding like this you may want to see a vet and ask him/her this question. Otherwise it varies on how long it will last.
