QUESTION: Is pug is highly sensitive to climate change ? heard that pug get many nasal problem with change in temperature and can not be fit in either hot or cold conditions. During climatic change it has to be kept in air conditioned room. Is this true ? Please share your experience.
ANSWER: Pugs and other breed types with short pressed muzzles have issues with breathing anyway so yes climate changes and air quality can be a big problem for them.Selection practices that some breeders have used to ‘encourage’ and ‘emphersize’ this short pressed muzzle doesn’t help the dogs at all.
