Why do these 2 year old pugs poop and pee in the house?

QUESTION: Why do these 2 year old pugs poop and pee in the house? My mother bought 2 female pugs neither are spayed. The previous owner said they were both house broken. They will not go into the yard if it is even dripping rain. Did he lie or will Spaying them help this problem. We intend to have them spayed either way. I want to also say that whenever they are left at home alone which is rare I might add since my mother is elderly and doesn’t go out for any extended period these two little girls will wet and or deficate on chairs or a bed when she leaves them. It is like they are angry that they are not going along could that be it?

ANSWER: Spaying has nothing to do with toileting habits.Pretend these are puppies and start training them yourself.Take them out every 2 hours day and night. Most dogs hate the rain and don’t want to go in it.People lie when they are giving their pets away saying they are toilet trained otherwise what are the chances of getting rid of 2 dogs they have not trained?And for those that are genuinely house broken you still have to house break them to your standard. They need to get into a new routine and be shown where it is okay to go.
