QUESTION: Has anyone ever heard of a pug with an indented chest? My new puppy a pug has an idented chest. Does anyone know what this is?The vet said it is a characterist of a pug but I have never heard of this before and my neighbors pug doesn’t have this.What could this mean?
ANSWER: Its okay. My pug had the same thing when she was a pup and my vet told me the same thing. I was paranoid too but everything turned out fine. Its actually funny I had forgotten about it until I read your question. Once they get older and fill out you don’t even notice it anymore. My vet explained it to me like a soft spot on a new born’s head – they are born with it its okay and it will be gone before you really even notice it.
