How do you stop your pug from shedding so much?

QUESTION: How do you stop your pug from shedding so much? Our pug sheds all the time and we can’t seem to control it with diet.  Any answers?

ANSWER: Our pug used to shed horribly. Another pug owner suggested trying Nutro Natural Choice dog food. I was skeptical but tried out of desperation. Has made a huge difference. No more expensive than Science Diet. Vet had said he had severe allergies and needed daily medication. Problems cleared up with food change. I am using the Lamb Meal and Rice formula. Also daily brushing helps.
