How much exercise should a pug do and can they run without getting breathing problems?

QUESTION: How much exercise should a pug do and can they run without getting breathing problems? The puppy i was going to get was a pug land pug x westie. just wonderin if he could go running without having breathing problems ?thank you.

ANSWER:  Ohhhh sorry but that i a really bad choice of mutt…Pugs typically have breathing problems and Westies typically have skin problems – not minor things these are serious conditions.I knew a lady with the westie with the typical skin problem can’t remember the name and she had to take her westie for å£200 a go steroid shots and they didn’t even make it go away just reduce it!Do not be fooled into thinking that mixing breeds dilutes the conditions they are effected by – it doubles them!It is also impossible to guess how active the dog could be because it could end up with anything… how active is the Pug parent?
