How often does a pug need to eat during the day?

QUESTION: How often does a pug need to eat during the day?    we just got a new puppy pug hes 6 months old i dont know much about pugs other then what i read  on the internet i think i got most of the info except for how often he needs to eat and when should be his first meal? i read theyr  supposed to eat 2 times a day?

ANSWER: Twice a day about 12 hours apart.  Follow the directions on the bag of food for the right amount.  it doesn’t matter what times the meal are- just keep him on a schedule.  I typically feed my dogs first thing in the morning so that the food digests while I am getting ready for work and then they eliminate right before I leave which is good for avoiding accidents while I am gone.
