QUESTION: How to get my 5yr old Pug to let me clip her nails..she hates the Groomers ? My Pug does not mind me bathing her but she snaps and fights when I try to clip her nails. She is afraid of the battery operated ones that file down her naila but she won’t let me use a clipper either. I was considering getting a cat muzzle since the vet has used one in the past to give her shots. Any suggestions?
ANSWER: Have a professional do it. Tell them she bites and to use a muzzle.Then stand back and watch the fireworks.Pugs seldom enjoy nail trims. most of the ones I know put up quite a fight.
