Is it true that fawn colored pugs shed more then black ones?

QUESTION: Is it true that fawn colored pugs shed more then black ones? I’ve just read that in a couple places. How much do fawn colored pugs shed? What about black ones? Thanks. =i just read something that said that fawn colored ones have like two layers of hair or something

ANSWER: As the others have said no it’s a myth. Both the dogs are the same on the inside its only genetics that makes their coat a different colour. It is thought that fawn pugs shed less because their hair is a lot more visible on many things rather than the black hair that kind of blends in.Pugs in general do shed quite alot so if you are planning on buying one be prepared to either brush the dog 2-5 every day is best but not essential or do a fair amount of vacuuming.Good luck!
