QUESTION: Pug owners can you give me any advice about the personality of a Pug? I’ve read a lot of articles saying that pugs are a wonderful companion. From your own experience can you define to me what is are the characteristics of a Pug? I had enough reading informations about Pugs on the internet because I now often find the same definiton in the net so now I want to learn more from an experienced owner. Thanks
ANSWER: Hi! My husband and I have a 1 year old Pug puppy and have had him since he was 1 1/2 months old. We have realized that everything we read about the Pug personality before getting him is absolutely true!! You can liken it to a stubborn lovesick very hungry furry baby that snores and snorts a lot but that will love you unconditionally and forever keep you entertained! All in one package. Ours is very friendly and easily gets along with other dogs kids and adults. They do shed quite a bit of hair especially twice a year seasonal shedding but since they are short-haired it can be somewhat controlled with regular brushing and adding omega-3 to the diet.
